Elena Tumanova was born in Moscow, Russia and got an education as a pianist , composer, and sound engeneer in Moscow Music Academy. She worked as a ballet pianist about 25 years in Russia and played for well known classes and character dancers. She has lived in US since 1997, the same year started working with Salt Creek Ballet . A year later, she began working with Lou Conte Dance studio and The Ruth Page Center for the Arts, where continues to work.
